A Message from Myra Biblowit,
President, BCRF
The passing of our beloved founder, Evelyn H. Lauder, in November 2011 was a tremendous loss not only to BCRF, but to the community of supporters and activists who have joined her cause since she began the organization in 1993. Mrs. Lauder’s dedication to our mission continues to be an inspiration to the Foundation and we are honored to redouble our efforts so that her vision can be realized. That commitment is firm. BCRF will intensify its efforts as a convener of the best and brightest researchers in the world as identified by Dr. Larry Norton and BCRF's outstanding team of Scientific Advisors. The researchers selected for funding By BCRF and the projects they lead are the ones with the greatest potential to eliminate this disease.
The 186 BCRF researchers BCRF is supporting in 2011-2012 represent the most promising scientific minds focused on prevention and cure – across the United States and in 13 countries around the world. These projects connect diverse channels of scientific inquiries and culminate into one global effort to realize the dream of every family touched by cancer – eradication of the disease.
BCRF is proud to remain fiscally responsible and ensure that each gift maximizes its potential benefit on research. Currently, over 90 cents of every dollar donated to the Foundation is directed to supporting breast cancer research and awareness programs that are saving lives. To this end, CharityWatch, formerly known as The American Institute of Philanthropy, has recently re-awarded BCRF its highest possible rating of an “A+.” We are proud to be the only cancer organization to receive this top accolade.
Thank you again for your support and for believing in our mission.
With warm regards,

Myra J. Biblowit
President
